Jailbreak your 3G iPhone step by step for free:
1. Start ITunes
2. Make sure you have the latest ITunes version.
3. In ITunes check if you have the latest Firmware (2.2.1)
4. If not, Upgrade your firmware.
5. When it’s done upgrading close ITunes.
6. Download QuickPwn from the link below (this is for Windows)

7. Unzip QuickPWN
8. Double click it and follow the instructions.
9. At the selection screen check Cydia. If you want to replace the apple logo Click that. You can also check Installer but it went downhill and there isn’t much content for it. I don’t use it anymore.
10. When you come up to the jailbreaking screen make sure you follow it to the letter. It is imperative that you DO NOT let go the Home Button (Its the round button at the bottom of the Iphone)
11. QuickPwn will show it is done jailbreaking and your Iphone will restart. A Cydia Icon is now on your Screen.
You now have a jailbroken Iphone 3G or ITouch.
This works for the iPod touch 1G, iPhone and iPhone 3G.
